TM Rural Water District Rules and Regulations

New Water User Applicaton Process

• Verify your residence in located within the District's boundaries.
• Complete an Application for Water Service and submit to TM Rural Water District office along with a $50.00 application fee.
• TM shall review the application information and determine if enough water is available at the requested location with regards to the amount of water requested by the applicant.
• If water is deemed available, a site meeting will be set up with the applicant in order for the District to make up an estimated cost to provide service to the applicant.
• Estimated cost to provide water will be mailed out to the applicant along with a Water User Agreement and any Easements that are required to get a water service to the proposed location.
• Applicant has 30 days to decide whether or not to move forward with the process.  If applicant wishes to move forward, 50% of the estimated construction fee will be required in order to schedule construction of the new water service.  Remaining amount to be paid upon completion of the water service to your location.
• TM personnel will install all infrastructure up to and including the water meter pit at your residence.  Applicant shall be responsible for getting the water from the water meter pit, into their residence.  If applicant has a poly water line ready to connect to the meter pit at the time of construction, TM personnel will hook up the line at no additional cost.
• Monthly minimums begin immediately upon water being available at the water meter pit.  Once pit is installed and water is available, monthly minimums must be paid regardless of monthly usage or water allocated for this location will be suspended until all past minimums and water fees have been paid in full.
